The two year old stallion Brilliant (s. Bretton Woods), who was sold for 220.000 euro at the AOS-auction in Ankum a couple of weeks ago, became the champion at the Mecklenburger stallion show in Redefin, Germany. The chesnut is bred at Paul Schockemöhle’s Gestüt Lewitz. The champion of the showjumpers, a son by Contendro I, is also bred by Gestüt Lewitz.
The Lewitz Stud is domiciled in the German state of Mecklenburg and that’s why Paul Schockemöhle is a regular contributor at the Mecklenburger stallion show. This year he bred the two champions and got more approved stallions. Dutch stallion owner and breeder Joop van Uytert got two approved stallions as well. One of them got a premium, a stallion by Foundation out of a dam by Sarkozy. The other licensed stallion is by Charmeur x Negro.
The reserve champion of the dressage horses became a son by Fürst Wilhelm ot of a dam by Lord Sinclair I and the other premium stallions are by Apache and San Amour.
A son by Vigo d'Arsouilles x Canturo became the reserve champion of the showjumpers. Only one other jumper, a son by Mylord Carthago, got a premium.
